The Climate & Sustainable Futures Working Group brings together a diverse network of experts, practitioners, and thought leaders dedicated to building a more resilient and sustainable Pakistan. This group focuses on advancing solutions that address the urgent challenges of climate change while fostering innovation in renewable energy, agriculture, and urban development.

A central priority is the renewable energy transition, enabling Pakistan to shift from fossil fuels towards cleaner, more affordable, and reliable sources of power. Alongside this, the group explores strategies for climate resilience and adaptation, ensuring that vulnerable communities are better prepared for floods, heatwaves, and other climate-induced risks.

The group also champions sustainable agriculture and food security, promoting practices that protect natural resources while increasing yields and reducing environmental impact. Efforts in waste management and circular economy seek to minimize pollution, recycle resources, and reduce reliance on landfills. In rapidly expanding cities, the focus on urban sustainability and green cities encourages smart planning, green infrastructure, and eco-friendly mobility.
